It begins. You had a great idea for a product because you did a ton of market research. You paid all the right people to package the product into a down-loadable format and you even had a website built. You’ve been doing blog posts and viral marketing, when you realize… you haven’t been split testing and tracking your sales page!in Business Entrepreneurialism, Business Marketing Direct, Internet Marketing Tips, Internet and Business, Split Testing and Tracking Sales Pages

The answer is - it depends!

Doing Freelance Work with SquareSpace

SquareSpace is a great tool for freelance website developers. I just started website development for Jamaican websites and Bahamian websites. I have 5 packages and charge based on how long I think it will take me to build the site and how much it will cost me to host the site on SQ. I also have a custom package for anything that is out of the scope of the other 4 packages.

From a revenue and time management perspective, I would recommend hosting your clients' SQ sites and creating a user account for them to make edits if they want. You will generate extra income with the discounted hosting and you will be able to monitor and make "quick" changes for your clients - which saves you precious time.

Another PaaS app to consider is Weebly. They are cheaper that SQ and in some cases just as good. SQ has the edge of being more configurable with less amount of work.

Have fun and please do share your progress.
